Yeah, New members can't post pictures until they have posted comments or questions I think 10 times, maybe more.
As far as your hen acting strangely, she may have eaten a small toad or some other disagreeable amphibian or plant.
One of my hens had eaten a small toad while I was in the pen. I tried to get it from her but she swallowed it. Within an hour or so she was acting lethargic, just standing there. When she moved it was like a zombie. This went on for 2 days, before she returned to normal.
A few months later a hen acted the same, I said did you eat a toad? She didn't answer. I didn't see her eat a toad. But 2 days later she acted normal. So I think she did.
I believe the toxins in a toad put them into a drugged like state, that takes a couple of days to be eliminated from the bird. And possibly a poisonous plant could do the same. GC
When you get a chance, you might want to check her over for lice and mites. The best way (from what I'be read) is to wait until after dark, and go take her off the roost, parting her feathers all the way down to the skin, looking for parasites. It would be easiest if you either have a headlamp or someone to hold a flashlight for you. You can also check for roost mites by taking a white paper towel and wiping the bottom of the roost. If you get red smears, that's mites full of blood.
