A lot of times they won't eat regular food or drink when having issues. I'd try giving her Riboflavin which is easy if just fed wheat bread and ice/snow chips with some booster added in (Just a little).

Hey guys! So I have a beautiful
25 week old lavender orpington named Chenelle that I noticed today wasn't standing with everyone else and was laying down on the floor in the coop. I figured she was just cold and coaxed her up, but she wouldn't stand. I thought maybe she was laying her first egg and just thought the floor would work, so figured I would give her an hour. When I checked on her again, she'd moved outside but still wasn't standing. I picked her up and put her on fresh grass and her legs gave out from underneath of her multiple times. I picked her up again and noticed her legs trembling horribly! They calmed down if I picked them up one at a time, but would still shake if I released them.

We brought her inside and put her in a sling with vitamins in her water and food at head height for easy access. She's eating and drinking normally, so no loss of appetite and no signs of injury either!! Any thoughts on what I can do to help her?
Either she came off a high roost wrong. Or the roosters damaged her legs breeding. I have a pulley that came off the roost and landed wrong

I have an 8-week old lavender orpington with the same symptoms-- suddenly won't walk much and she trembles when she stands. I have her isolated and have put vitamins in her water... Could you maybe update on what happened with yours?

Welcome To BYC
The OP (Original Poster) has not been on in about a year, but hopefully they will respond to you.

If you have more information you would like to share along with photos, we will be happy to see if we can help.
What do you feed your chick?
What vitamins are you giving?

Trembling and not being able to walk sounds neurological. It could be from disease like Marek's. Possibly nutritional/vitamin deficiency.

Vitamin therapy can be tried to see if that makes a difference. Give 1/4 tablet B-Complex daily. I think I would add 400IU Vitamin E a few times a week as well. See that she's eating her chick starter and drinking well. Bits of egg can be offered as a treat.

Thanks so much Wyorp,
I am giving baby polivitamins in the water, and she is receiving only medicated chick starter. She was exposed to layer feed and the occasional bit of scratch when she was out in the coop with the bigger birds, but that's about it. She was raised from hatching by one of my very healthy chocolate orps, and no one else out in the coop is showing any strange signs or symptoms.
This morning there isn't much change-- she can stand, but she trembles a bit when she does so. Her crop is empty. Her left eye is a bit swollen, and it seems to be her left leg that she won't lift. When I pick her up, her toes curl but she can flatten them again to stand up. She isn't walking much and prefers to just sit. I have taken photos but they don't show much... any additional info is helpful! I'll get the vitamin B and E for her today.

Could she have been injured since the left eye is a bit swollen and she doesn't seem to want to lift the left leg as well?

She's a cutie. Hopefully with her separated out and getting some specialized care you will see some improvement.
