My hen abandoned her 11 eggs after 2 days. Originally she sat on them and they were warm today I checked and she had buried them under the hay and they were extremely cold. What are my options?

My hen abandoned her 11 eggs after 2 days. Originally she sat on them and they were warm today I checked and she had buried them under the hay and they were extremely cold. What are my options?

They wouldn't be very far along at all, I would just discard them personally. It would probably be too late to do this, but you could purchase an incubator if you really want to try and hatch them. If you want chicks I would purchase an incubator and collect some eggs from your flock to set.

Once a broody abandons her eggs, the only other option is to incubate unless you have another broody to take over.
