I have 4 hens in with my one rooster. He likes three hens more than the 4th (which is a Wyndotte) and all the rest are Rhode Islands. The hens have their raw spots and missing feathers on the top back base of wings and such. My question is... Is there an ointment or something that I can put on the girls to relieve the dry areas and promote growth? I already spurred my rooster and I'm going to trim his nails in the morning. Anyone?? I hate seeing them all raw and sore looking.
