Hens Braking Eggs

I have a hen that has been laying eggs about 2 weeks now, the problem is that she lays the egg fine but then shes pecking a hole in it and all the eggs the she has pecked have been packed on the air sack end. Q: is if i put wooden eggs in the nests will this keep her from pecking her eggs?

put abunch of ping pong balls, shell peck them but wont be rewarded with any yolk. The wooden ones might help as well, im not sure.

You could also fill the pecked egg with nasty tasting, spicy stuff and see if that stops her.
I hate hens who peck eggs.

My girls have stopped eating any eggs for the most part, even if they are left with them all day. Could the be frustrated about something you're doing?

Ok i might need to modify a little. they are not eating the eggs just knocking a hole in the end of it. thanks
