I'm so deeply sorry. Owning chickens is such a pleasure, but boy does it hurt like h$ll when you lose them.
 
i'm pretty upset. i hope the other chickens don't get sick. i only have 4 laying hens left and one very pretty barred plymouth rock roo that i just adore. i have various aged chicks but i need my layers and my roo is really nice and loves his girls. i can't believe how quick she went.

Well, I'm thanking my lucky stars that Ruby is still holding on and I'm happy that she's eating.
