Hens Crop Not Empting at Night Please help

I hope she has a normal life soon. We're in day four of the nystatin treatment. Here poop is starting to get more on the solid side again, but still soft. I spoke to the vet, he said either stop the treatment or cut the dose in half or continue as we are. Have to decide.
I would continue.

if i were you id keep to the dose for a few more days if not for whole time. i was given a higher dose than youve been given and mine had it for a long time as you know. not sure prolonged use is a great thing but 10 days or so should be fine. and bombies sour crop went. now i just have other problems.
is the crop still flat in the morning?

I'm continuing on with her dose. She did not have an empty crop this morning, had to vomit her. :(. Very disappointed.

oh :( im disapointed with you

I gave her a small amount of yogurt yesterday morning, I question giving them that. Each time I've tried, coincidentally she starts swelling. When I vomited her, it had a bit of sour smell, with the white stringy stuff. I really want to get her poop working, it's watery green, or green. She was drinking a lot of water yesterday and lots of diarrhea . Not as much water, she goes about every two hours. It's diarrhea. She even laid an egg this morning, big announcement. :)

I just checked on her and she is trying to have a dust bath on the towel. Too cute. :)

sounds improved then the smell. not as bad is good. all vets ive seen say no to any dairy so ive not tried it but maybe dont use it anymore. lots do without problems but ..... i know its horrible she has the runs but at least some nutritions going through. hope it improves fast.
that dust bath on the blanket it so cute! :) bless her xx

pwand: I know you are doing a 10 day blast with Nystatin here, but if she's still having issues, I wonder if a person should step up the antifungal to diflucan. It's more systemic approach. I don't know if it's the answer or if I've missed something in the thread about not using it or already tried or not vet recommended. But if Nystatin dissapoints I'd try to get my hands on diflucan.

I don't want to make things on the list to "overload" for you...but just a shout out loud on what i'm thinking as I read on about your hen's ongoing problems.

BTW. I just envisioned her dusting in the towel and gave me a big smile. They are such endearing creatures. I'm just obsessed with these dear feathered creatures.

I'm still lurking on here...wishing you and her well....
