Anyone in New jersey (south or central) who has hens for sale? Laying status does not matter and I'm willing to take older hens
I also have experience with special needs chickens so I am open to taking in any of those as I do have a secondary coop!
I'm looking to get a small amount of them (preferably 2-3 but anything 5 or less is good!) As friends for my last outdoor hen as her flock mates died of cancer/old age. She has one flock member left who is likely being put down tommorrow due to cancer and I don't want her to be lonely
I do not want layer specific breeds (Isa browns, etc)
I'd prefer mixes/mutts or ornamental breeds!
No set budget!
