Hens not laying, why?

Denn in Penn, thank you for the reply. I did get my 2nd egg today, which is good means that now 2 of my chicks are now laying.

Thank you for this, Sumi. That helped a lot. One of our girls has started laying again. Hopefully the rest will start up again also. It's been a tough year with the heat and all too, and it doesn't help perhaps that at this time of year we left all of our animals in the care of two teenage boys who almost killed the chickens because they forgot to give them water for a few days. (The girls still aren't drinking much, but the weather's a lot cooler now too.)
