I've been quoted less for the same breeds lately, all of laying age. If you lived closer, I can get them for $5 - $7 each. By the time you pay for gas though..... I'm coming that way in about a week, but that would be earlier than your time frame.

Sorry about the rudeness, some people are just that way and may not even realize they are. I second what bishopschickens said, he may have thought you were just saying that to get him off the phone.

I'd look into the Danville meet that lisabug mentioned. I'd love to go but I don't think I'm going to be able to make the 4 hr trek by myself
