Hens or cockrels?

I have 12 chickens bought from Tractor Supply, as straight run chicks. They are apparently Barred Rock. They are 17 weeks old. They all look the same to me. No spurs or spur knobs. I have heard three distinct different crows. Should I sell em, or wait to see if some of them start laying?

All of those are cockerels.

If you can see the saddle feathers on the one to the left... any who look like that are male.

I'd say sex link males. Barred Rock should have white legs, I think.

Barred rocks have yellow legs. Cuckoo Marans have white.

They look to be all males to me too. Were they straight run? If they are males at 17 weeks they should be starting to crow.

Uh oh.....those are cockerels. They have LONG yellow legs and their sickle feathers are coming in.

Pics of chicks at 6-8 weeks would be easy to tell males from females from comb color alone.
Hackles and saddles on barred birds in fuzzy pics is hard to see.
