Hens that crow? Roos that act like hens?

This us my first time to raise chickens. Got a coop and 12 new chicks 5 mo ago. Now I have a chicken who looks like a hen and who crows with the roos quite often. I also have a chicken who looks like a rooster but acts like one of the hens and he doesn't crow nor try to breed . Any ideas what's going on here.

Hello and welcome...so glad you joined BYC

I have a lead hen that has taken to crowing recently. Its a feeble attempt, but a crow instead of the egg song LOL
