Hens with large combs

Hi everyone!

I'm interested in starting a new flock. A while ago, I saw some white hens with large, red combs that flopped over to the side. I found them adorable! I enquired about the breed but can't remember what they were called...

Which breeds of chicken have hens with the largest combs?

It sounds like you are talking about white leghorns. They are good layers of white eggs. They are quite flighty but dominant with other hens. Leghorns come n a variety of colours but the hens all have those big floppy combs.
