Hens with swollen eye/face? HELP please.

Can anyone tell what the deal is with my hen's eye? I've read a bit on this thread about eye infections...what causes it? Do I need to go through a vet to get Tylan? Thanks for any help!!
 
Lizzy14 - Did you ever find out what was wrong and is she okay now? I bought a brown leghorn at a swap Saturday and just noticed her eye today. I don't want everybody else to get it!
