Hens

How come one of my hens are fighting with some of the other hens? Causing bleeding on one of them. I have had the hens for 2 years and this is the first time I have seen this. Have a nice day Jeannie

The pecking order is a fluid ever changing social structure. Molting, broodiness, illness can inspire lower ranked birds to attempt to improve their flock position.
