This may be a common thing, but I never saw mine do it before and it made me laugh.
Usually it's the littlest roo that ushers everyone in the coop at night, but tonight he went in and left a few others outside.
The last one in was a rather bossy RIR, the one that started attacking the cat. One of the red sex-links thought she'd come back out just before the RIR went in, and the RIR actually circled around her like a herding dog and pecked her head and forced her back into the coop.
I've been wishing for a herd dog ... maybe I oughta train that RIR for the job ...
