Here are my Delawares at 14 weeks old

Here are my Delawares at 14 weeks old. Today I culled " 8 " of my Delawares. Six ( 2 males & 4 females ) was culled for not having rich yellow legs as they should. Two ( 1 male & 1 female ) was culled for size, being to small for there age.

At what age do their combs become prominent? My Delaware is 10 weeks old and still hardly has any comb.

I have a hen that is a bit over a year old that has as big a comb as my 19 week old cockerel. Sorry, I can't tell you just when the combs develop, but they do.
