Gosh. I’m so sorry. That this is happening.

I'm going to get some smooth pebbles at dollar tree this morning. In any case, I woke up to 11 chicks instead of 9. Now I feel the need to check on the newborns extra frequently and hope they are all alive when I come back from work tonight.

That’s a good plan. I hope the new chicks do well and some more hatch.
