Here We GO!! 6 Babies *All done*

I have 10 Golden Cuckoo Maran eggs in the incubator. It's 9 hours into Day 20 and I have 3 pips and lots of peeping from inside the eggs.
Excited!!!!!!

Woohoo!!!
We have zipping on the first chick and boy oh boy, I hear tons of chirping.
There are still two other pips. The other 7 haven't started to do anything yet.

I bet I have pics of this baby within the hour, she's tearing around her shell right now.

One thing I love about the Golden Cuckoo Marans is you can tell at birth by color which sex they are.

I seem to be good at hatching roosters (from my first hatch) but I live in town and can only have pullets...... so I'm hoping for a mostly or all 'black' batch. First one is pushing on the shell right now, 2/3 zipped, just a little more to go and we will see who we have!!

Yup, good at roosters!
I hatched 1 maran, cockerel, in last batch. He was the only maran to hatch out of 6 eggs. And first one of this batch is little roo.
