YIPEE!!!

My first little maran pullet!!
The little cockerel who hatched first was soooooooo distressed to be alone. They both are chirping alot!!
Still wet. 2 more pips, still on Day 20!
6 eggs still quiet.

Baby #3 just pushed her head out. She is looking pretty black and delicate. I think she is another pullet!!!

One more has pipped as well.

I'll post some pics when they start to dry out. They are all chirping so much!! Flop flop, chirp chirp chirp, flop flop, chirp, zzzzzzzzzzzz, repeat

The cockerels are tan with gold and the pullets are black with some lighter brown and gold bits on their heads.
I dont' think it is all marans. These are golden cuckoo marans.

BantyGirl13 ~Well with only a threeish month summer it will be to late for this lil ones to be in with the big girls and boys by winter time. But all these pics sure is making it harder.

Brilliant pics and congrats. By incubator is very frustrating - I can only see around the sides so no chance of pics.

I have 4 babies now - 1 is a copper blue maran - I hope it is female!!
