Here we go... after waiting for 10 years. Plus a CONTEST (is that ok??)

Because four of them are kind of behaving like boys in Elementary school: running around, fighting with each other, teasing the girls etc. Four of them hang together pretty well and two of them (the girls) are usually together.

Also I’ve noticed that the boys tail feathers, at least their feather nubs, tend to point straight up. The girls’ not quite so much.

picture: roo suspect, to the left, hen suspect to the right. Hey, and you know what? They look so determined...bebe dinos.

Oh, and I almost forgot. I never expected such HUGE poops!

Well... they do taste like chicken... :(

That said hubby won't let me even think about butchering any of ours, so even if we have a cockerel he'll go off to become someone else's dinner. I have at least 2 places I can drop off a free dinner at.

OK folks. We are down to the last decision.

I don't want to award the prize to the wrong person; we all need to agree on who is a girl and who is a boy.

As soon as I get home, I'll take head shots of each one, the post with a guess whether g/b. We can all agree, and the lucky winner will get some cash..or plastic...or whatever.

Should be home about 5:30-6:00 (EST) today.

Later, alligators.
