armgeddon i never even thought about doing another one on the other side maybe I should do it and then I could get a few more birds lol.

but this time instead of figuring sq ft per bird Ill use my new formula (how many hundreds per bird)

It really looks great. You know seriously if you did the other side, it would look just like a barn.....and more chicks!!!

here it is all finshed. now i can finally relax and enjoy all the improvements and put my newest birds in their new home.

transem windows installed

put 2nd chicken door in, and ran new lift cables and installed longer cable for door #1

here is the new inside doorway to enter the addition

made some changes to the old roost to make room for the new door

here they are all moved in looking over all the new area

we also extended the run for the new addition 6'x24' to make the run a total of 14'x24' also there is a human sized doorway so i can enter both runs from the inside or make one big run and we put flight netting for total overhead protection.
