Here's the first pics of the new fella. He was really knocking the other eggs around in the bator, so I took it out and put it in the brooder. It's sooooo active already....peeping up a storm and running all over the brooder. I'm going to try and put it in with the 2 week old bantam mottled cochin chick in a few minutes and see how it goes. It's definitely active enough to keep up with the older guy!

Now back to my vigilant stare at the incubator....come on little chickies! OMG, I just heard another one in the egg start peeping at me! Here we goooooooooo...

The 2nd BLRW egg has a pip in it...so not long now til I meet my next little beauty!

No action from the Wellie eggs yet. Those eggs are so dark that I never could candle them well enough to see actual movement. Before they were put in the hatcher, all I could see in them were the air cells and big black blobs. Those 2 are driving me crazy...since I don't know for sure that the chicks were alive when I raised the humidity. They're definitely gonna put my patience to the test!
