If dh did not want to apply I would be like,"Fine you stay home and take over MY job,and I will work outside the home." My dh just had a week vacation.A week of doing absolutely nothing.I have not had a day off since I was married. Well atleast your dh got some things done around the home. I do hope you are able to get into that China Lake area. It IS hard to get into something new.Hope your dh bites the bullet and does it.

Sometimes you can find some good *newish* looking things at thrift stores.

Ummm probably a bad suggestion but what if you apply for him

then he doesn't have to feel like he let you down if he doesn't get it. Also you should apply, there are usually many jobs for spouses in a military environment...maybe if yours is set he will be more confident about moving there.

Aw Deb, I'm sorry to hear about your bad luck. Don't worry though, things will start to look up soon! Some weeks are just like that. I had a similar one when my transmission blew at the beginning of the summer. I just tried not to think about it too much and scrounged around my accounts for the money I needed to fix it. It took a full month and a half to get it fixed, but it worked out in the end. I'm sure things will for you as well.
