Wow Rocky! Black Bart does look like like that in the sun. My boy is a young'un, but he's got the same coloring. Could it be?
Do barnvelders crow funny? Now, I'm here in the South, and we pronounce things differnt-like. But this roo has pronunciation problems when he crows. I'm embarrassed for him. And for me. Who wants to have a crow-challenged rooster?

Thanks LadyHunter! I never thought about Delaware being in the mix. Could they generate black legs in chicks?
Or the dark cornish? Just wondering.
