DH was actually so proud of his mess, he made me take a picture

It was a bear to clean up!

I had a chicken explode in the oven for no apparent reason.....

I had 2 loaves of bread stick to the pans yesterday. It would appear that my non-stick loaf pans still need to be greased before adding bread dough.

All that hard work by my bread machine for nothing.

All my other mishaps have been so traumatic, I must have buried all memory of them and gone to my happy place.

My son left eggs boiling on the stove. Its fun cleaning that kind of thing off the ceiling.

I had a casserole dish explode once in the oven. Talk about yucky.

Well . . . way back in eighth grade I was playing with food coloring and for some reason decided to pour green food coloring in my Mom's pot roast. When she discovered everything had turned green she threw it out, and I was too ashamed to admit what I had done.

Just a couple of weeks ago I started thinking about it and I finally called Mom to 'fess. She said that for years she'd been thinking she's the only person on the planet who can ruin pot roast, and that I was perfectly correct in deciding to never have children to torment me like that.

It's amazing how good they explode! I thought I will just run out and finish watering some chicks while the eggs are boiling. Except I got side tracked on other projects before remembering the eggs on the stove. Not sure how long it takes after the kettle runs dry for them to explode, the kettle didn't survive either!
