Pretty neat devices!! Love the walkin cooler, too, -- that is a plus.

I stopped throwing bone in the trash a couple years ago when I learned they could be composted. So bones rarely end in the trash here. I like the possibility of speeding up the recycling by pressure cooking, espeically if the birds could use the minerals directly.

Yes. Along with other serious injuries, I lost my left eye due to shrapnel from an exploding artillery shell.

A cataract is causing fairly serious problems (with my right eye) so I use bold print so I can at least see what I type.

I hope to have the problem taken care of in late March,2014. Sorry if it bothers you.

Glad you found a way to compensate. I had cataract surgery a few years ago an it made a world of difference. Hopefully, all will go well for you. Wishing you the best. Never said it bothered me was just curious why you chose to write everything in bold.

Thank you both for the encouraging words...my only problem is having but one eye...I have to wait 'til my son gets here so I can sit on my butt for a day or two...esentially blind.

After all, this is West Virginia. Nor as many vagrants as one might assume but lots of worthless extended family members who expect too much...one pictured below...

Lots of fat and protein their..lol
Big chicken protein there. Looks like HoneyBoBo all grown up.
Exploding artillery shell !!!! Yikes - And thanks for your service - I will presume you were on our side.
Had the double cataract surgery - makes seeing night and day- after surgery I realized our walls were white not yellow.
Only problem was a little bit of retina wrinkle and it happens often in that type of surgery. To check if a 2x4 is straight I look at it independently
with each eye- If both views bend different directions its straight LOL - your brain compensates for it over time.
Good luck with yours

I got game bird feed and the calf manna today. It was $50

. I'm not concerned it's not like I have anything else to spend my money on. Hopefully with the change in diet fertility might pick up a bit. If not, at least everyone will look better. Calf Manna is fed 2 tbs./bird/day, right?
