Heritage Large Fowl - Phase II

what is it?
YHF...I have the greatest respect for you and for the hard work you put into your birds but I have to say, only reading about our process of preparing bird feed could be more tedious than trying to put it down in print. It's not hard for us to do because it's the way we have always done, but to some, it might even be down right gut-wrenching....perhaps literally.

I will say here that it's a bit labor intensive and generally a pain in the BUTT

However, we have it down to a very loose science, meaning there's room to alter the recipe(s) as weather dictates as well as the age of birds we're feeding. It does contain lots of meat protein and nitrogen based material...

At some point I will put it down in PDF format and send it to you..to use in part or whole, to post, to laugh at or simply delete.

In the mean time, thanks for your interest.

Better be an ALPHA !

:D   I've raised 3 wonderful rotties. Yup, better be an alpha. lol

I am open to suggestions on working dogs or sporting dogs. NO hounds, no terriers, no toys. No rottie, no golden, no German shepards. Looking for a working dog: obedient, watchdog, fetches, agility.

ANyone have experience with CCR?

Best working dogs I have that aren't lgd's are tervs... All around great at everything except being an lgd. Protective and intelligent and intuitive. Breed Champions who are also herding, obedience, agility, and tracking champions.

I love them because they have dimmer switches... a lot of dog when you need it, but can chill out next to your chair when you don't.

Try a poodle

Nothing better than a plain and simple Lab. Loyal, intelligent, hard working, good temperament, hardy, healthy and easy to train. I call them the Cadillac of dogs...a smooth ride and dependable performance.
