Heritage Meat Rabbit

She is lightly silvered, but has more since this photo was taken. There are very few available in state and these aren't optimum, but will be a good start until I can afford to have some outside stock shipped up. The buck that I have access to is much better, so I'm hoping I can take steps towards improvement in the next generation.

The other doe I got I am pretty convinced is a cross.

The same is true of the Champagnes. They get mopre silver as they grow. They are born pure black and the siver comes in first around the nose and later to the ears and then the rest of the body.

My Champagne/Californians always looked like that with just a little bit of silver on them.
