He has feathers like a Silkie, very soft and pretty, but only 4 toes.

He is the same age as the Frizzles/Sizzles behind him, they hatched together in June or July.

I don't know, but he's starting to act like a little roo though and it's so cute, He grabs someone's head and tows her around the pen,, then lets go.

He looks like a Wyandotte/Silkie cross to me. The head shape is very Wyandotte-like.

I'm wracking my brain trying to think of who I got his egg from!! I haven't gotten many this year so it shouldn't be this hard!

He could just be a silkie with four toes, I had one before. They happen, you just would want to cull them from your breeding. The face is off though, I have to agree. But, it would be unlikelyy that he is half crossed with anything, as when crossing Silkie X Regular feather, the regular feather tends to dominate. But, it wouldn't suprise me if there was some other blood in there. Is his skin as dark as regular Silkies? Crosses tend to not have as dark of skin.
Good luck, he is neat looking.

He doesn't have the dark skin.

Oh my gosh. I swear you superimposed my Nugget's head and neck on a silkies body! [IMG] I'll have to try to get an updated pic of Nuggie. Wow that just looks sooo weird. Anyway, Nugget's a BO/EE/Silkie mutt and about 6 - 8inches taller than yours. Maybe a 2nd+ generation silkie mutt? I'm not that good with genetics.
