Hey, name's Abron! My family and I recently (3 years ago?) got back into raising chickens. Of course ours are part of the family, all of the big hens know their names and try to sit in our laps (and sometimes hop into the back of the car when we're getting groceries out!). We currently have 5 Golden Comets (Apples, Sienna, Flo, Jacky, and Daphne), 2 RIR/Austro mixes (Nora and Lilly), and Nora's daughter who is 1/2 comet, 1/4 RIR, and 1/4 Austro, Otter. Those are all of our adult hens (8). We also picked up 9 baby Old English Game bantams last Friday, but lost one yesterday. They are: Mini, Nickie, Piplup, Snickers, Truffles, Peachy, Dotty, and Kyne. So, a little about me! I'm a high school student interested in some feild of Biology leaning on arachnology, herpatology, or arthropology. As you can see by my career choices, I love many animals but am partial to reptiles and bugs. My family owns a small hobby farm consisting of horses, dogs, cats, chickens, and ducks. I myself own 3 betta fish, 4 tarantulas, 1 scorpion, 3 leopard geckos, 2 gerbils, and 2 rabbits. I have yet to meet any one of our animals who isn't extremely personable. Even the tarantulas and scorpion have very different personalities! I am also interested in reading, writing, and 2D drawing. I'd rather like to get some novels published some day. Another little dream of mine is to someday write and illustrate short stories. So, it's nice to meet you!
