We have 28 chickens right now. We had been wanting to get a few chickens but hubby is military so we had been dragging our feet a bit about it. Then they kind of fell into our laps! There was a family looking to get rid of their whole flock and coop because they couldn't afford them anymore. So we snagged our opportunity and have loved every minute! We have some older ones -- almost 4 years. We also have several younger ones -- about 6 months or so. We are hoping to get some help on here figuring out their breeds and whether we might have a few roosters lurking around in there!
