Your dinner sounds delicious! Do you grow the rhubarb at home? My hubby LOVES rhubarb so I just may have to plant some.
prairiegirl - Your dinner sounds like pure comfort food! Yum! Really, my dinner last night was easy-peasy. It was so easy that
I didn't even make it. Hubby did. The teriyaki meatballs were by Aidell's, you know, those sneaky sample people at Costco who shove tasty morsels toward you to tempt you to buy!
- heated in the microwave for a couple minutes, wash the veggies, chop the cilantro, grate the carrot - and throw it all on the table with some dipping sauce and let people build their own. The rice was already made - leftovers in the fridge - and just needed a zap in the micro. It was all on the table in 10 minutes.
Dinner for tonight is in the crockpot. I'm making a sort of a cabbage rolls casserole - all the same ingredients but skipping the steaming, stuffing, and rolling of the cabbage. It's made lasagna style with cabbage on the bottom and top and the filling goodies sandwiched in between. I hope it's good.
