Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

Normally it would be something Mexicn tonight. (taco tuesday!) However I am pushing that to tomorrow as it is eay and I have to spend most of the day in town tomorrw. So tonight is Pork Chops, corn and twice baked potatoes.

BYB Sloppy Joes and corn sound good to me. I always serve corn with my SJ too!

Ah, so since you've given fair warning, we won't be expecting to see B4D tomorrow!

Actually, we're not doing B4D tomorrow either. The kids have a band activity and BBQ.

I don't know what it is about SJ's and corn. I think they just go well with one another.

Indian Summer! So last night we had grilled chicken, parsley potatoes, and green peas. Night before we had baked swiss, cheddar, and ham omelet, and fresh apples. Tonight we are going to try Velveeta Pizza, have never had it before, but I;m sure the kids will like it!

My hubby loves it when I pick up Ciabatta or sourdough bread form the bakery. Then I take deli ham, swiss cheese, grilled onions (a must) tomatos, lettuce and make grilled sandwiches...similar to a Panini. It is so easy and so good. It is our favorite meal when we are horse camping. OFCOURSE..large grilled shrimp with Ceasar salad is yummy too.

Bacon, potato and caramelized onion pie. Kind of like a quiche, I'm making it up as I go along! And a salad, strawberry shortcake for dessert.

DH picked a bunch of strawberries this spring and I froze them, so we are going to have a few this fall and winter.
