It did. And, hubby loved it! The kids didn't make all the yummy sounds he was making, but they ate it all - scarfed it down.

So yes, it tasted good - AND the fridge is a little more open. I need to go to Trader Joe's today.

Tonight is a lasagna Bolognese with homemade spinach noodles and sauce, salad, fresh baked semolina bread and chocolate- almond biscotti I made last night (and had to taste test this morning with coffee and then again this afternoon!

).

I'm just having basic fare around here. (Fixing my Sunday meal today....just didn't feel like cookin yesterday)

Fried chicken breast
Corn on the cob...the very last batch from garden...somehow I thought I put up more corn...maybe it's moved sides in the freezer.
Green beans with turnips
Mashed potatoes
flour gravy (this is what we call our 'white' gravy)
biscuits
sweet tea
dessert is a coconut pie (the Rev.'s fav.)

I know...) that I got yesterday. We had enchiladas, now I am thinking chicken salad or hot and sour soup with chicken.

YAYY I got groceries!!! Got home at the time dinner is supposed to be done, so I rushed through tacos. lol I at least added in refried beans so it wasnt just meat, shell, sour cream, cheese and lettuce! lol
