Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

Stuffed peppers is a 'lazy man's meal' for me. I make a big batch and freeze enough for 4 or 5 meals.

Ooh, chislic is the state dish of Eastern South Dakota.....for me it will be make with little cubes of venison tonight! It's small cubes of meat (traditionally beef or mutton) tossed into super hot fat for a few minutes, taken out, sprinkled liberally with coarse salt (or garlic salt) and eaten with a cold beer. I prefer it without any fol-de-roll, no french fries, toast or dips. You can get it at the state fair and it's amazing! Most bars serve it, many restaurants serve it, and it used to be we could get it at our local Dairy Queens in eastern SD as well. I love this stuff - my cardiologist hates it!

Blooie, you and I would make the perfect "split a lunch" partners. I'd give you the meat and the beer, I'd take the fries and a Diet Coke

I'm a sucker for some good French Fries!

Tonight will be Cobb salad and garlic bread.

I also made some Italian sausage and veggie soup to help fill the bellies. Never ending task, seems like.
