Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

Last night the Princess had eaten by the time I got home so I 'made do'. Tonight I will plan a proper meal. We have always had a sit down family type meals. I guess that is no longer routine for many. :idunno
yes, and that's sad. Having both our kids living in their houses on the farm has been wonderful. We eat dinner all together most nights, and daughter and I take turns cooking. LOVE it especially since the isolation of Covid.

I try to make proper meals for supper every night, DH would prefer something "simple".

My "proper" meal is something I make from scratch and usually has protein, veg and a starch (potato, pasta or bread). For instance, tonight I am making baked boneless/skinless chicken breasts, green beans and pasta with parmesan & butter. He wants a chicken sandwich on a hard roll, with mayo and ranch dress; potato chips on the side.

I am learning to make things that will fill both our needs. I need to lose weight and dang it, I am going to with or without his support.
