Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

Left over ham, mac and cheese, and a salad last night. Tonight I will make sirloin cutlets, baked Yukon Gold potatoes, and sweet corn.

Today my oldest turns 6. She requested sweet and sour chicken for supper. Just put it in the crockpot to cook slow for a few hours. Going to serve it with egg noodles and banana bread.
We butchered our first batch of meat birds a couple weeks ago and she picked which chicken she wanted for her birthday dinner.

Smoked corned beef (pastrami) yesterday with potato salad, rye bread and sauteed kale. The kale was not good this time though. No fault of the plant - I clearly overcooked it. Leftovers today with baked potatoes.
