Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

Baked chicken pot roast style W/ potatoes, carrots, and whatever I have to add to the pot. Nothing fancy but plenty of leftovers.

Big Boy went on a youth pheasant hunt and came home with a nice sized bird. I marinated it and roasted it in foil, and then we had a shrimp stir fry on the side.

tonight's dinner will be bbq chicken legs cooking in the crockpot. First time trying it that way instead of grilling or baking. and southern style green beans and mac-n-cheese.

Meat loaf made from beef and lamb with acorn squash and beans, carrots, kale, chard, collard greens, tomato, garlic all fried together.

Pacific Salmon marinated marinated with lemon juice, lemon zest, olive oil, salt and pepper; then broiled. We had Basmati rice and string beans too.

Oh yummy!


DH is out of town, so the kids and I are having eggs and french toast for dinner.

It was one of the best Salmon diners yet!

I want to make french toast tomorrow with the sourdough loaf bread I baked yesterday.

I only collected 3 eggs today though. Lots of feathers out there....

Last night was fried chicken and coleslaw. I also made a big pot of chili and beans for lunches, snacks, etc t/out the week. 2 teenage boys

I have pork and apples and cheese and...walnuts. I seem to have everything but ideas.
