Breakfast for Dinner, of course.

The only change this year is that we squeezed dinner in between watching the landing and take-off of the President's helicopters during his visit today to OC. Amazing, simply amazing!

last night was the chicken I thawed out roasted with potatoes, carrots and parsnips. It always amazes me when I buy parsnip the person at the checkout doesnt know what it is.

Dont know what we are having tonight yet, probably something with ground venison.

I'm feeling like Thai food again ..possibly some Green Curry with chicken or shrimp ..sticky rice ..potstickers ....

..I need to get my butt to the market and pick up some eggplant and zucchini for the curry, though. Oh ..and Basil ..don't know why my Basil never lasts in the garden

I may even splurge and make some "bubble tea"

You are right, it does seem this thread is a little more quiet than usual. I have been spoiled between my MIL cooking and DH cooking plus he has taken me out more than usual lately. Now that I am FINALLY feeling good again, I guess its my turn.

Last night MIL made ham and dumplings Yummy!!!!

I put together a sausage and cheese strata and cut up potatoes for homemade hash-browns.

There hasn't been much to post on this week at our home. Other than cooking early in the week, we've been finishing up the leftovers. And, I'm not cooking tonight either. Hubby will bring something home and we'll have family movie night. The kids look forward to it all week.

DH and I are both fighting sinus problems, so nothing sounds good, and when it does, I can't taste the darn stuff anyway

Wednesday night was Wendy's, and Thursday night was Papa John's

I'm feeling a bit better, so will probably make some sort of "ghoulash" tonight-was going to do a crockpot Salisbury steak meal, that looks really good, but didn't get home in time this noon to start it.
