Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

We just finished making tamales. It's 1:45 AM here. We pumped out approximately 150 of them. Must of them are pork with red or green sauce. Per special requests though, there's a little bit of bean with cheese and pepper with cheese.

We ran out of lard and masa harina. I could probably make a few dozen more if I resupply since there's a bit if extra pork, cheese and peppers.

I put pan-fried two tamales and put them in a tortilla with some salsa verde.

Pan-frying is my favorite way to reheat tamales. I remove the corn husk and put then in a front pan with a bit of butter or olive oil - any fat would work. Pork fat or bacon grease would impart delicious flavors.
