My sourdough starter is not very active. It is bubbling a little, making the alcohol layer and starting to develop the "sourdough" smell, but it is all very slow. I haven't given up yet though. I am adding fresh water and flour too it, but Is there something I can do to help it along? Some sites say to add Apple Cider vinegar, some say milk and others say a little sugar. Any opinions?
