Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

Tonight we are having crock pot chili made with half beef and half chorizo sausage and I will throw together some drop biscuits to have as a side. I'd rather have cornbread, but I am the only one in the household who enjoys it, so I don't opt to make it for just myself.

Sounds good!

Yesterday was chicken thighs, green beans and fries. Simple but tasty.

I am getting sick of green beans. I think we eat them every other day. DW is easy to please with food. Give her meat and a starch and she is all set. I need variety and like to explore my palette a bit more.

I am the one here that likes flavor and variety
Mixed butter basil and pepper with garlic juice for chicken party wings on the grill ..
Tator tots .. hhmmm need to look see if I have some brussle sprouts to go with

Today was grilled Italian sausage on buns, fries and cucumber and tomato salad. DW cooked and she wanted to keep it light and not use the stove or oven - she grilled and used the air fryer for fries - because it was hot here today. After settling in this evening, I was rather hot and so were the kids (and cranky). Checking the thermostat we found it was 87 in the house! The air is now running and set to 73 with fans also blowing - much more comfortable.
