Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

No idea just yet. Might have company with a friend hopefully coming by to give me a hand working on our second car. That means a guest for dinner so I better plan accordingly. Chili sounds good and I know there's some ground venison is the freezer. A bean and meat stew wouldn't be bad either. Wet whether here has me looking for warm comfort food.

Wow I’ll have to look for that, it sounds good!
It is quite good and provides 2 meals + for us. Today I mowed lawn, washed windows, and worked some dogs - Cracker Barrel will provide turkey dinner tonight. :p

No. It's a Costco product with meat, sauce and crumbs packaged separately. All that I have to do is bread and cook the meat and add the sauce.
Do you find it in the frozen food section?

Venison chili it was. DW decided she wanted to stuff a pumpkin too, so we filled a small pumpkin with extra beans and chili topped with chihuahua cheese and baked it on the oven. The pumpkin took longer than expected it we just had bowls of chili and will have the stuffed pumpkin tomorrow.

I think I’m going to soak some beans for soup. Yesterday I braised a pork steak with carrots, onions and mushrooms. Put in some chicken broth , a few glurgs of red wine and a few blaps of Worcestershire, let it simmer for an hour or so and it was very good! Nothing leftover though, we ate it all! :hit
