Back at the beginning, the only restaurant around here that was open on Christmas Eve was the Chinese restaurant. Chinese takeout has become our Christmas Eve tradition - one carried on by our kids and their families.

Tomorrow: chilled shrimp, pierogies, kielbasa and sauerkraut, Rigatoni Bolognese, Swedish meatballs, mushrooms in brown gravy, Caesar salad

Spaghetti and salad tonight. Tomorrow the same for DH but I’m having some shrimp.
