Hey Grandpa, What's For Supper?

I'm a wee bit jealous of all of the cool weather/soup weather you all are experiencing. It was 80 today here.

I'm not sure what we're having for dinner tonight. DS is in a drama production this evening and will be eating with the rest of the cast. Hubby, DD, and I will probably grab something out before the show.

Tell me if this sounds good, and I'll tell you your lying. But it really is, just seems wierder then the normal wierd.

1 lb hamburger meat, 5 small taters, peeled and shredded, 1 small onion, diced.
Cook all in frying pan till meat's browned. Drain, mix in taco seasoning, cook 5 mins more.
Shred some lettuce, Dice tomato, sour cream, salsa or taco sauce, refried beans.
Tortilla chips, or flour tortillas, or taco shells.

Taco salad/ tacos/ burritos.
Yummy, actually

Last night (Friday) was pigs in a blanket, homemade macaroni and cheese, green beans, corn and applesauce.

Tonight is wherever DH stops on the way home from DD's wrestling match (and yes, I really did mean to type DD, she is 12 and darn good)! He just doesn't know it yet!

my best friend called and invited us over for lobster fresh off of one their friends boats.
She's doing baked potatoes some kind of veggie(don't care what) and I'm bringing dessert. Gherideli chocolate chip pecan cookies. If I can stop eating them as soon as they come out of the oven.

I always forget about barley. My Mom used to make beef-barley soup when I was a kid.

skand..That DOES sound very good!

purr..Lobster!!!!!!!!! No fair. I need friends like that.

My son somehow talked us into letting 2 of his friends stay the night tonight. Three 14 year olds. Now to some, that may seem like nothing, however mine is an only child and we live in a single wide trailer!! They are good boys though, it should be fun. It always makes DH turn into a teenager too! So I am thinking tacos might be they way to go. Maybe chips and spanish rice.

I am going to have to search for today's incident.

Supper tonight was fudge and a diet pepsi come to think of it that was breakfast and lunch too.

Pizza burgers...big fat burgers with pepperoni, pizza sauce, mozzerella cheese and fried onions. Add some chips and a piece of pumpkin roll and YUMMY!
I just wanted ANYTHING I didn't have to go out to get or go to the store for ingredients for. It so waaaay too cold here for November!

This morning's incident... Whole flock of guineas.. okay, maybe four or five, flew into one of the roo's pens, which is normal except for today. Well, they decided to go after the roo, sweety. Tore his big o' wattles and comb all up.
Sweety is our boy, Popcorn's son. Looks just like daddy, acts sweet like momma, 'Lyssa Hen.

We ended up doing sloppy jo's and fries. Settin out ham for tomarrow's dinner.

Cold meatloaf sandwiches, leftovers from last night. We were at the Mandarin Festival today and pigged out on all the junk food stuff they sell at those kinds of things. But we brought home a big bag of mandarins so that's dessert!
