UPDATE 5/14

My employer's weekly newsletter picked up the story about me & sent to all 30,000 employees! Thought all of you would crack up at how the staff interpreted the article...

GOIN' TO THE CHICKENS: Jennifer (...) made the paper recently because of her chickens. Jennifer, who lives in Tacoma, has three hens -- Gwen, Tribble and Nugget -- and two chickens -- Curry and Croquette. The whole gang was featured in the Tacoma News Tribune in an article on city folk raising chickens. Adrien told the reporter that she raises chickens to have fresh eggs, but she also gets fertile compost, free weeding and a place to get rid of table scraps in the bargain. And she claimed she gets pleasure from listening to her chickens cluck.

One of my co-workers asked "So, what gender are the chickens?"
