Welcome to the board Lynne! I'm Ashley. Just getting started with milles but I am so excited to be part of it! I LOVE cochins so it was a shoe in for me to participate. I LOVE genetics too so what fun in two respects.

Your birds are gorgeous! You've got to be so proud!

Here are some f2 babies Lynne has right now

and a 3 week old f2 cockeral

a 10 week old f2 ckrl

and her f1 breeder cock

His color may need more improvement, obviously as he is only f1 but his form is really looking good. I'd be very happy, Lynne.

You will enjoy this site, I have learned lots and the members are quite helpful.
All 9 eggs you had sent were fertile and 7 are still on track to hatch this week. It will be a neat Thanksgiving to see some mille cochins hatch! I very much admire the dark mahogany in one of your hens.

I want a mille cochin so bad i cant stand it!!!! I would love a porcelain even MORE. Has anyone actually started a breeding project for a porcelain cochin?
