Erin, I'm so sorry about your little Millies. So glad you got at least one, though. I'm kinda wondering if I should help mine or not. I don't like to, but I really don't want to lose them. One pipped first thing this morning, and the other later in the morning. They have made a little progress, so I'm just watching. Not sure what I'll do yet.

Well, I went to check right after I posted, and I have a little Millie.

The first one to pip this morning has hatched. I can breathe-I've got at least one.

Oh I am sooo glad you have one! We were too. It's even better that she has company... our 'one' got a little too spoiled a little too quick. Needy little buggar

That is great that your rosecombs hatched. It must be so comforting after lossing your dear one. Oh I hate losing chickens.

So happy with these! Can't wait to get them out of there!

Just a quick note, Lynne was awesome enough to honor my bid for Mille Fleur Cochin eggs, back when I got home so late from court that night, she is soooo sweet! So I've had 3 make it to hatching - and 2 are hopping around in the batore as we speak!! They are sooo CUTE!!

(I hope they fluff up before those huge Marans start pipping probably tomorrow - Marans are slower - I will pull these out even though its a no no to open the bator - It's a Genesis after all - it will even itself out quickly with a spritz of water.)

All your birds are so so pretty - I think I have Mille admiration issues!

Ok everyone, here is my little sweetie ready for her photo-op debut

It was very hard keeping her awake during the shoot

She is so laid back and chill. Wyatt loves her to pieces already.
That little dark spot I think is a smudge of dirt. I was cleaning up my yard sale just before the shoot so.. ?
