So Friday when I got home from work, I discovered that my mille cochin hen had laid her FIRST EGG! It was up in the storage area of the new coop, LOL Sunday, she laid another, right in the same space. And yesterday, one in the nest box!

Oh and I took about 500 pictures yesterday, burned them onto a cd and left them on the counter.

So if I have like 20 pics--can I post them here--or should I start my own? Or both? LOL I need some critiques on my roos (3 of them) and my one little hen. I'm on a few waiting lists for some more eggs...my four came from two different hatches and two other shipments did not produce any viable eggs.

Last roo--he's got the most personality and he's a real "ladies man!" LOL I've seen him feeding the young pullets by picking up food and letting them peck it from his beak!

I'm hoping he'll molt out with some white?
